Power BI Developer- Mandarin Speaking

Overview

We’re hiring Power BI Developer for a 6-month extendable contract position for our client in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Employment Type : Contract for 6 months

Location : Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Must Have : The role requires strong proficiency in Mandarin to meet project communication requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing reports and dashboards using Power BI to support business decision-making.
• Work with senior analysts and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into actionable insights.
• Perform basic data cleaning, validation , and preparation using Excel, SQL, or Power BI tools .
• Support the maintenance and enhancement of existing BI reports and visualizations.
• Troubleshoot discrepancies in reports and dashboards, and escalate issues as needed.
• Document report requirements, data sources, and metrics definitions.
• Collaborate with technical teams to test and validate BI solutions .
• Participate in data quality checks and ensure data accuracy in reports.
• Provide support for end-users of Power BI dashboards (e.g., access issues, training support).
• Contribute to identifying opportunities for automation or process improvement in reporting workflows.
• Stay up to date with Power BI updates and best practices and apply learnings in day-to-day tasks.
