Application Engineer

Principal Responsibilities :

• To assist, coordinate & execute Singapore offices enquiries, sales orders, logistic arrangement etc. from Factory. To have timely & sufficient communication with Singapore Office for tasks, priorities & updates. Weekly ZOOM Meeting will be carried out to achieve & manage this objective.
• To ensure that the customer receives a timely response on their inquiries. Target is to achieve a response time of 24 Hours for standard inquiry and 48 hours for non-standard inquiry. Objective to turn order inquiry into order (revenue to the company). Must strive for fast and accurate response.
• To execute Sales Orders secured from Singapore Office & coordinate the ordering procedures with Factory, included the logistic arrangement to Singapore jobsites.
• To ensure that the information and solution to engineering design request is well thought.  Pricing and costing provided must be as accurate. Nothing must be overlooked that will cause margin to erode. Provide solution in most cost-effective way.
• On time to work, with minimum absents and work productively and efficiently. Must be able to work as a team and contribute towards meeting the company objectives.
• To proactively engage in dialog or discussion with Factory related departments such as Engineering, Sales Administration etc. to enhance the technical ability and to work more independently solving problem and issued. To continue to work with suppliers to get better understanding of product purchased. To have a hand on approach with productions so that a better understanding of design constraints can be obtained. To maintain all engineering related selection, technical reference in an orderly and readily accessible manner. To ensure that these information are constantly updated in order to improve productivity and efficiency. To lead the inquiry solution process to communicate with all related department to obtain solution, so that to meet the targeted respond time.
• To attend to job site or meeting with customer upon request whenever necessary.
