About the Role

The Director of IT Strategy & Transformation will be responsible for leading end-to-end IT transformation initiatives , spanning cloud adoption, network modernisation, and cyber security uplift. You’ll partner with global C-level stakeholders, driving the roadmap for technology change and aligning IT with business growth objectives.

This is a high-visibility, strategic leadership role where you will build and guide cross-functional teams across networking, systems, and security, ensuring Malaysia delivers cutting-edge, enterprise-grade IT capabilities for the wider organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

Define and execute the multi-year IT transformation roadmap (cloud, SD-WAN, zero trust, automation).

Align global technology strategy with regional business priorities.

Advise executives on emerging technologies and their business impact.

Transformation Delivery

Lead large-scale migration projects including hybrid cloud adoption and network modernisation.

Oversee cyber resilience initiatives, ensuring compliance with global frameworks.

Drive standardisation of IT processes, governance, and best practices across APAC.

Team & Stakeholder Leadership

Lead and inspire cross-functional teams across networks, systems, and security.

Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Mentor senior managers, building a future-ready technology leadership pipeline.

Ideal Candidate

12+ years of IT leadership experience across infrastructure, networking, systems, and security.

Strong stakeholder management experience, able to influence at C-level.

Global or regional exposure within MNC environments highly desirable.

Strategic thinker with hands-on knowledge of cloud (Azure / AWS), SD-WAN, and security frameworks.

Executive presence with excellent communication skills.
