We are looking for a
Field Sales Specialist
to be based in
Perak , who is able to convince the best restaurants in Malaysia to join foodpanda. This role will report to the
Lead, Field Sales , in the
Commercial
department. Responsibilities
Drive B2B sales and seek and secure new partnerships with vendors. Be passionate about the food and beverage industry with a desire to sign up the best local and international vendors. Be the local market expert : know the best restaurants & shops in Malaysia and provide recommendations. Gather restaurant and shop feedback, monitor competitor activity, and provide recommendations for improvements to management. Act as the brand ambassador : conduct cold calls and walk-ins, schedule in-person meetings, and sell foodpanda services to potential vendors including top shops and restaurants in Malaysia. Exceed sales targets and performance-based goals while working independently. Contribute to our international network and high-skilled team. Take responsibility for the business from day one and manage a portfolio of vendors (restaurants & shops) to exceed goals for retention, development, and maintenance. Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree. At least 2 years of work experience in consulting, e-commerce, or startup environments preferred. Strong management skills : ability to manage and motivate field teams. Flexibility, as restaurant hours differ from standard 9-to-5 schedules. Outgoing and confident in appearance, with strong communication skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work remotely and under pressure. Proactive with the ability to lead independent projects. Out-of-the-box thinker who challenges the status quo. Experience in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, startup / tech environments preferred. Fluency in English and excellent communication skills. Additional Information
