Accounts Assistant Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts and annual financial statements in compliance with MPERS or MFRS or IFRS and other statutory requirements.
- Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts, including variance analysis and provide financial insights.
- Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, intercompany and bank reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate financial records in accordance with accounting standards.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including review of tax computations and submissions.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Enhance internal control systems and continuously improve financial processes and policies.
- Assist in the creation of new processes and system implementations, including automation projects.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Perform all other related assignments or ad‑hoc tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager or senior management from time to time.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; professional certificate (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is a plus.At least 6 years of experience in finance and accounting; experience in brokerage, financial services or fintech is a plus.Proven experience in managing or leading a small finance team.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and familiar with accounting software.Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.Take initiative; ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, be meticulous, well‑organized, and a team player.Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese.Seniority Level
