Join to apply for the Regional Payroll Manager role at Altera

  • Act as the primary liaison with outsourced payroll vendor(s)
  • Own payroll calendar, approvals, audits, and reconciliations
  • Validate inputs and outputs for each cycle (hires, terminations, bonuses, etc.)
  • Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies or escalations
  • Manage internal compliance with tax, wage laws, and SOX requirements
  • Partner with Finance, HRBPs, Benefits, and Legal to ensure payroll accuracy
  • Support payroll accounting function as needed
  • Prepare payroll reports and dashboards for leadership
  • Recommend and implement process improvements and automation

Job Description :

  • Act as the primary liaison with outsourced payroll vendor(s)
  • Own payroll calendar, approvals, audits, and reconciliations
  • Validate inputs and outputs for each cycle (hires, terminations, bonuses, etc.)

    • Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience in global payroll operations (EMEA, APAC)
  • Experience with outsourced / global payroll vendors
  • Experience with regional benefits policies desired
  • Knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, or equivalents)
  • Strong analytical, audit, and reconciliation skills
  • Excellent communication and vendor management ability
