Penerangan pekerjaanMinimum Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (Juruteknik Electric) and 2 years of relevant working experience or 5 years of working experience in maintenance operation specializing in electrical, preferably experienced in refinery plant electrical maintenance Experience in handling forklift Understanding of quality standards is preferrable. Able to communicate in Bahasa Melayu and understand basic English Must be precise, accurate, and well organized and have strong attention to details.
Responsibilities
- To perform inspection and repair maintenance for low voltage powers located in switch rooms and power generator
- To ensure all equipment are running in good conditions and no interruption to the supply of electricity
- Carry out periodical preventative maintenance functions on all electrical equipment including troubleshooting of electrical / instrument and control devices, e.g. PLC / SCADA
- Attend breakdowns, identify faults, and solve problems with minimal downtime to production
- Attend to all installation, repair, maintenance, dismantling, or any other related equipment's / electrical problems
- Provide technical advice and expertise on mechanical equipment for troubleshooting fault-finding and machinery failure
- Liaise with contractor / supplier on project activities
- Immediately inform Supervisor / Engineer of any equipment / quality issue / any abnormal condition
- To ensure compliance and enforcement of quality standard and departmental SOP
- To ensure compliance and enforcement of SSHE regulation
- To actively participate in weekly, monthly trainings
- Perform any other duties or undertake additional roles from time to time, whether ad-hoc or otherwise, as assigned by the management
- Assists in other duties as deem necessary as assigned by the Head of Department (HOD)
