Talent Acquisition Specialist (1-year contract)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle — from job requisition, sourcing, screening, interviewing, to offer management.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand business needs and develop effective talent acquisition strategies.
- Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline , particularly for technical and specialized roles in the renewable energy industry (e.g., solar, project engineering, technical solar).
- Execute creative sourcing strategies through professional networks, job boards, LinkedIn, and industry events.
- Support employer branding initiatives to enhance visibility and attract high-caliber talent.
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies and relevant employment regulations.
- Maintain accurate recruitment metrics and provide regular reports to management.
- Collaborate with HR team members on onboarding and workforce planning activities.
Position Requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably within the energy, engineering, or infrastructure sectors.Proven experience in hiring both technical and non-technical roles such as engineers, project managers, technical personnel, and corporate functions.Technical & Functional Skills
Strong understanding of the energy industry and workforce landscape (e.g., solar, wind, hydro, biomass).Proficient in using LinkedIn and other digital sourcing tools .Skilled in end-to-end recruitment – including sourcing, interviewing, offer management, and related HR processes.Familiar with employment laws, market salary trends , and recruitment best practices .Experienced in conducting HR interviews and coordinating the full interview process.Soft Skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively with hiring managers and leadership teams.Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data and metrics to improve recruitment effectiveness.Highly adaptable, resilient , and proactive in a fast-paced environment.Passion for sustainability and supporting green transition talent strategies .Added Advantage
