Our #MKASupplyChainTeam is expanding! We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to support the procurement process by managing purchase orders, maintaining supplier relationships, monitoring inventory levels and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services to meet the organization’s operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and approved budgets.
- Obtain competitive quotations from suppliers and evaluate offers based on price, quality, and delivery terms.
- Liaise with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and specifications.
- Maintain and update supplier database, ensuring accurate contact and compliance information.
- Follow up with vendors on order confirmations, delivery schedules, and discrepancies.
- Assist in negotiating pricing, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers.
- Monitor inventory levels to avoid stock shortages or overstock situations.
- Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and other departments to ensure timely delivery and proper documentation.
- Track shipments and resolve delivery or quality issues with suppliers.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier agreements.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and relevant regulations.
- Prepare purchasing reports and summaries for management review.
