The Role

The Supply Chain Assistant will oversee and manage the logistics operations, ensuring efficient and effective supply chain management. This role involves coordinating with various departments to optimize the flow of goods and materials, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery to meet the company’s operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact point for end-to-end order fulfillment operations which includes planning and scheduling, freight / transportation arrangements.
• Evaluate and manage forwarding agents and couriers’ performance / KPI - ensuring continuous service in quality, timeliness, cost efficiency.
• Able to create, design, monitor and present operational reporting.
• Work with other cross-functional teams as required on day-to-day operations. A team player.
• Drive continuous improvement through process, system enhancement, cost savings, and problem solving.
• Ensure operational compliance and service level adherence.
• Oversee operations in other AMD control sites within Penang.
• This position is a 5-day work week, start time from 8am to 5pm.
