EC-Council Global Services is the consulting and managed security services arm of EC-Council. It provides cybersecurity advisory, governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) services to help organizations strengthen their security posture. EGS offers solutions such as penetration testing, incident response, threat management, and information security audits, combining EC-Council’s global expertise in ethical hacking and cybersecurity education with practical, enterprise-level security implementation.

Position Overview :

EC-Council is looking for a Sales Head to lead our EGS (EC-Council Global Services) business based in Malaysia — a division focused on Consulting in Cybersecurity. This is a strategic leadership role for a seasoned cybersecurity sales professional. The ideal candidate has built and led sales teams, driven enterprise engagements, and understands the complexities of cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the sales function for EC-Council’s EGS business, owning revenue, strategy, and execution.
  • Drive new business development in cybersecurity managed services across enterprise.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for cybersecurity domains such as SOC, GRC, Incident Response, Red Teaming, Penetration Testing, and Risk Assessments.
  • Build and manage a high-performing sales team, providing leadership, coaching, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with delivery, presales, and consulting teams to ensure client requirements are effectively scoped and delivered.
  • Build and maintain CXO-level relationships with enterprise clients, system integrators, and key decision-makers.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities.
  • Own the sales forecast, pipeline, and reporting for the Malaysian region.

Requirements

  • 12–18 years of experience in Cybersecurity Sales, Business Development, with a proven record of revenue generation.
  • Strong background with System Integrators (SI) or Cybersecurity organizations with team leadership.
  • Demonstrated success in selling cybersecurity services, or managed security solutions to enterprise clients.
  • Experience managing sales teams, setting targets, and driving execution through people.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, compliance standards and enterprise risk management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage C-level executives.
  • Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with willingness to travel across the region as needed.
