Established in 2003, Digital Hub seeks to add value by transforming IT support functions to bring higher returns to Sunway Group’s businesses. As a centre of excellence, Digital Hub provides world-class support services to IT projects within the Sunway Group, and delivers value through the standardization, consolidation and optimization of IT resources within the Group.
Role : Infrastructure Project Engineer is responsible to assist Infrastructure Solution Architect to implement information systems to support the enterprise infrastructure of Sunway organization. The individual must ensure that all systems operate in accordance to the agreed design and support the development of new technologies and system requirements. The primary responsibility is to implement the adopted computer systems and offer infrastructure services in accordance with ICT security and performance. The Project Engineer will task in execution of Incident, Change, Release, Problem, Performance and Availability Management guided by the Solution Architect.
Responsibilities
- Implement IT infrastructure solutions (on premises & cloud) based on project requirements.
- Coordinate and perform the installation, configuration, and testing of hardware, software and cloud components.
- Ensure that infrastructure solutions align with industry best practices and comply with organizational standards.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, network engineers, and other IT professionals.
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to integrate external solutions.
- Create and maintain project documentation, including design specifications, implementation plans, and post-implementation reports.
- Ensure that documentation is comprehensive and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- Support incident, change, release, problem, performance and availability management activities as guided by the Solution Architect.
