We are seeking a Global IT Manager to lead our growing IT function in Kuala Lumpur. This is a senior, hands-on role overseeing cloud migration, global IT operations, and third-party supplier management across multiple time zones. You’ll work directly with senior leadership in a collaborative, non-bureaucratic, and approachable environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead global IT operations, managing a small internal helpdesk team and external specialist IT suppliers.
- Drive cloud migration projects, reducing legacy on-premise infrastructure and optimizing cloud environments.
- Oversee cloud system security, updates, and automation tools (e.g., AutoMox).
- Manage global Tiered Helpdesk performance, ensuring SLAs are met.
- Identify skills gaps, training needs, and future IT resource requirements.
- Optimize costs, resource utilization, and overall system performance.
- Provide a single point of IT contact for senior management, balancing strategic planning with day-to-day operational delivery.
- Collaborate closely with leadership and stakeholders to align IT strategy with business needs.
- Maintain compliance with security, data protection, and regulatory standards.
