QA Engineer

Overview

As key person in driving manufacturing quality improvement activities for Metal / Ceramic Precision Machining Division. Overseen product quality performance with data analysis and lead the team in conducting root cause investigation, corrective action and improve production yield. Works closely with production personnel to ensure the production line compliance. Ensure Metal / Ceramic Precision Machining Division production line compliance with QMS standard include customer specific requirements. Perform internal audit with cross functional team to ensure the line compliance. Perform data analysis, root cause analysis and propose corrective action. Coordinate quality meetings to drive quality improvement of manufacturing. Conduct product related quality training to cross functional team to ensure product and process quality adhere customer requirements. Conduct investigation to all customer complaints with effective corrective action to prevent recurrent. Update and revise quality related SOP and WI from time to time include rework instruction. Undertake other roles & responsibilities that are assigned by the company and immediate superior from time to time until full closure.

Requirements / Skillset

REQUIREMENTS / SKILLSET :

• Degree in engineering, applied science or equivalent with relevant work experience.
• Minimum 3 years working experience in quality roles in semiconductor industry.
• Familiar with quality tools including 7QC tools, 5 Whys, FMEA, 8D technique etc.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software – Word, Excel, Power Point.
• Proficient in data analysis and able to drive production line for quality improvement.
• Must be skilled in writing detailed SOP, work instructions.
• Understand ISO9001 : 2015 requirements with ability incorporate customer specific requirement into QMS.
• Candidates with ASQ Certified Quality Engineer will be added advantage.
• To be able to drive changes and be a change agent
