Overview To ensure the IT systems are working as per requirement / SLA and to gather and analyse new requirements from the internal stakeholders / business owners to bring more value-added features into the IT systems.
Responsibilities
Understand, gather and analyse business functional needs and requirement (As-Is-Process) and define (To-Be-Process) mapping back against available IT system in GEGM System Registry for a change request or enhancement implementation
Work closely with business process owner to provide overall guidance in the fit-gap analysis to identify process inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
Facilitating design sessions with the implementation team to define the solution
Investigating compatibility with the existing operating environment, assesses cost benefit factors that involves budgetary / resources impact to the organisation and work closely with internal stakeholders / business owner during solution phase to derive a complete business case
Responsible for functional specifications of end-to-end solutions delivery, deployment, system integration and user acceptance of the product / system / application
Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks
Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company
Highlights any potential concerns / risks and proactively shares best risk management practices
Qualifications
Possess tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, Marketing, Finance, Accounting or other related disciplines
Has minimum 3 years of working experience in a Business Analyst role or Product Management capacity
Strong presentation and communication skills
Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into solution design
Knowledge of how to manage expectations when balancing alternative business and financial constraints
Must demonstrate good judgement and pragmatic approach to delivering a solution that optimizes architecture activities across company needs, business constraints and technology realities
Good negotiation skill
High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork
Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes
