will focus on providing technical advice to customers including commissioning, installing, and testing of products / equipment. Responsibilities include identifying and correcting complex startup problems, researching and recommending product upgrades, and developing ongoing relationships with customers to secure future business. The Field Service Engineer may resolve / troubleshoot implementation problems and / or train customers on equipment features. How You’ll Make An Impact
Perform field service operations with strong technical skills. Deliver outstanding services remotely or on-site, including installation, maintenance, and repairs. Exceed customer expectations by understanding and anticipating needs, troubleshooting equipment failures, and proactively preventing issues. Identify and resolve electrical or mechanical problems with minimal assistance and develop potential sales and business opportunities through customer knowledge. Suggest product and process improvements to enhance operations. Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. A college or university degree in a technical field (electrical or mechanical engineering) is an asset. Strong mechanical and electrical aptitudes. More than 3 years in Substations, Power Quality / FACTS Field Services (Problem Identification, Installation, Testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, maintenance, extensions, replacements, upgrades and retrofit, end-of-life service). Experience in Industrial Mechanic and Electrical / Substation. Hands-on experience with substation construction, high voltage equipment, and electrical testing. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and test equipment software. Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with strong communication skills. Proficiency in spoken and written English is required. More About Us
