Senior Engineer / Engineer, Battery Energy Storage System (BESS)

Location : Ara Damansara, Petaling Jaya

Department : Integrated Clean Energy Solution (ICES)

We are seeking motivated and technically skilled engineers to join us for the end-to-end technical execution of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. This includes technical solution development, project implementation, and ongoing technical support. The role requires strong engineering acumen, hands‑on experience with BESS technologies, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical / power engineering or related fields, with a keen interest in battery technologies and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze tender documents and contribute to bid strategy and documentation.
• Support project feasibility studies and cost‑benefit analyses.
• Prepare technical documentation and drawings for tender submissions, including AC / DC single‑line diagrams and system layouts.
• Review and clarify technical specifications in RFQs and ensure compliance with client requirements and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate cable sizing, routing, and tie‑in to existing transmission infrastructure.
• Provide on‑site support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
