Sika was first established in Malaysia in 1989 and full operations commenced in 1991 through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Sika Kimia Sdn Bhd, with the completion of its local head office and production plant in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. Sika Kimia Sdn Bhd currently employs more than 340 people across various functions including Sales & Marketing, Technical Service, Finance, HR & Administration, Laboratory, Production, Purchasing, Customer Service and Warehouse.

Job Description

• Maintain / upgrade adequate skill to perform the work to achieve the efficiency.
• Familiarize with IMS applicable to Laboratory & implement the procedure as outlined.
• Familiarize with ESP’s applicable to Laboratory & implement the procedure as outlined.
• Ensure laboratory cleanliness and maintain lab equipment & apparatus.
• QC routine check on raw materials and finished goods. Perform routine follow-up testing and evaluation.
• Maintain data updating and results recording.
• Issue quarantines & distribute to relevant department promptly.
• Maintain / dump retaining samples from time to time. Keep the retaining samples area clean.
• Ensure that our products are fulfilled adequately with stated quality and performance parameters with full regard to legal, environmental and safety obligations.
• Dispose of household wastes e.g., paper / plastic / concrete mortar wastes.
• Perform any other tasks assigned from time to time.
• Maintain Sika information with appropriate secrecy and adhere to policies regarding confidential information.
• Maintain confidentiality of formulation at all times.
