Entegris is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Kulim. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting equipment issues, developing and implementing effective solutions, and assessing equipment conditions to support the plant’s business objectives.
The Role includes key areas of responsibility such as pneumatic systems, maintenance assemblies, multidosing systems, baking and curing equipment, testing equipment, and SAP system management.
Responsibilities :
- Lead, develop, train, and assess Maintenance Technicians in executing daily tasks, managing work schedules, performing maintenance activities, and driving continuous improvement initiatives for machinery, equipment, and auxiliary systems to support plant business objectives.
- Diagnose equipment issues to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions for machinery, equipment, and related processes.
- Coordinate with Facilities, Operations, Planning, and Management teams to ensure equipment availability, timely repairs, and maintenance execution.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of machinery and equipment, including repair forecasts and comprehensive reports on maintenance activities, costs, and quality improvements.
- Plan, execute, and coordinate preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability.
- Monitor and manage spare parts inventory and procurement to ensure component availability and cost-effectiveness.
- Identify, plan, and participate in the development and implementation of equipment procedures and work instructions.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with documented procedures and relevant regulations.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives for new projects or improvement activities as assigned.
- Monitor and evaluate ongoing equipment performance to ensure operational efficiency.
- Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors and vendors on behalf of management for maintenance-related activities.
- Identify and implement opportunities for equipment and process improvements.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of new machinery, robots, and equipment.
- Maintain maintenance documentation in accordance with ISO standards and requirements.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in equipment maintenance, with a strong focus on pneumatic systems, mechatronics, PLCs, and electrical components.Solid understanding of pneumatic systems and their applications.Proficient in troubleshooting and maintaining PLCs and electrical systems.Prior role as a Preventive Maintenance Engineer is highly desirable.outed Candidates Will Have :
Hands-on experience and strong knowledge of PLC systems.Familiarity with SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) module, particularly in managing plant equipment data and maintenance activities.What We Offer :
