Business Development Manager, Malaysia

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand customer base.
• Identify and target potential customer in the logistics sector through market research, networking, and cold calling.
• Hunt and win new opportunities with a focus on small and medium size customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including shippers, freight forwarders, manufacturers, and distributors.
• Understand customers\' needs and develop customized solutions to meet their transportation and logistics requirements.
• Drive the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals, achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Prepare quotes and RFQs, offer best solutions according to customer’s needs and in close collaboration with Operational team.
• Input and timely update of sales activities utilizing CRM system.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, customer service, and marketing, to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction
• Provide regular sales reports and updates to management.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
