Chief Compliance and Risk Officer

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Compliance and Risk Officer (CCRO) located in Selangor, Malaysia. The CCRO will serve as a key member of the Venovox leadership team, responsible for overseeing the risk management and compliance functions, developing and implementing enterprise risk management frameworks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and conducting market risk assessments. This role manages two direct reports — a Legal Counsel and a Compliance & Audit Lead — and ensures Venovox maintains the highest standards of ethical conduct, governance, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law
• 5+ years of progressive experience in compliance, risk management, and / or legal functions, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong understanding of corporate governance (GDPR and PDPA), regulatory frameworks, and enterprise risk management.
• Demonstrated ability to assess risks and provide pragmatic solutions to support business goals.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Proven experience working directly with executive leadership and boards of directors.
