Penerangan pekerjaanMinimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Fresh graduates with no prior experience are welcome to apply. Basic understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with SQL accounting software is an advantage. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines. Good communication skills in English and Malay (written and spoken); multilingual candidates are a plus. Proactive, eager to learn, and able to work independently and as part of a team. Must be based in or willing to relocate to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced Account Assistant (Payable) to join our team at Asia Shipping & Forwarding (Sabah) Sdn Bhd in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. This is a full-time position that will play a key role in our accounting and finance operations.
What you'll be doing
- Assist in processing accounts payable transactions, including verifying and reconciling invoices.
- Handle payment processes for suppliers and vendors, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Enter financial transactions into the accounting system with precision.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve payment-related queries.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Assist in other accounting tasks as assigned by the Accounts Department.
