Account Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Account Assistant to join the team at UMS Investment Holdings Sdn. Bhd. in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. This is a full-time position responsible for providing efficient and accurate accounting support to the business.

What you'll be doing

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets and cash flow statements
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable in a timely manner
• Provide support with statutory processing and employee expense claims
• Contribute to the month-end and year-end accounting close processes
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports and presentations as required
