Freight Analyst – MNC | 3-Month Contract | Work From Home
Responsibilities
- Work to understand and improve our existing freight & warehousing invoice audit processes at Lime.
- Develop, implement, and maintain databases with applicable logistics and inventory related cost information.
- Review freight bills to identify gaps in details or discrepancies in charges applied, and follow up with the provider for reconciliation.
- Recommend changes to the freight billing process to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Develop, implement and maintain freight and inventory related cost models for reference in the review process.
- Work with Accounts Payable team to ensure timely processing and payment of all freight and warehousing services invoices.
- Maintain and publish periodic logistics related cost performance reports to management.
- Build the KPI metric to measure and enhance the vendor billing performance.
- Work with Lime’s finance and supply chain leadership teams on the annual budgeting and gap analysis process.
- Create PO#s, validate invoices, capture and report on costs and spend related trends.
- Track critical spend metrics and provide supply chain leadership with periodic reports on performance.
- Draft and maintain documentation of all freight audit processes, benchmarking against industry standards and trends.
- Other related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
2+ years supply chain, freight, warehousing or other cost related analytical experience.Excellent communication skills with various internal and external stakeholders and ability to partner with cross functional teamsDetail oriented with proven ability to maintain large quantities of accurate and timely data by creating and maintaining variety of reporting needsExcellent analytical skills and ability to prioritizeProactive and ability to work independently with minimum supervisionExperience in identifying improvements in process areas, and in assisting with implementing improvementsProficient in Microsoft Excel & Word and G SuiteBe careful - Don’t provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
