Role Summary
Arkus Advisory is seeking an experienced restructuring and insolvency professional to join the firm in a senior leadership capacity as Partner (Non‑Equity). This role is suited to a practitioner with a proven record in Cayman Islands formal appointments and the ability to originate, lead, and execute sophisticated cross‑border engagements. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of cases, contribute to the firm’s strategic growth, and strengthen client relationships across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage voluntary, provisional, and official liquidations, receiverships, and restructuring assignments in compliance with Cayman Islands law and professional standards.
- Supervise case teams to ensure full adherence to statutory, regulatory, and judicial requirements.
- Provide strategic and commercial advice to clients and stakeholders in both contentious and non‑contentious matters.
- Originate and develop mandates across Caribbean, U.S., European, and Asian markets.
- Mentor and develop team members to foster technical excellence and professional growth.
- Contribute to the firm’s strategic direction, operational development, and business planning initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, law, or a related discipline.Recognized professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA, JIEB, or equivalent).Minimum 10 years’ experience in restructuring and insolvency, including leadership of Cayman Islands formal appointments.In‑depth knowledge of Cayman Islands insolvency legislation, court procedures, and professional practice standards.Proven ability to originate and execute mandates while maintaining strong client relationships.Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.High integrity and professionalism consistent with the responsibilities of an officer of the court.Compensation & Structure
Base Salary : US$175,000 per annum, paid monthly.Benefits : Comprehensive health and pension coverage in accordance with Cayman Islands employment requirements.Performance‑Based Bonus : Entitled by contract to receive up to 50% of net profits from engagements personally originated and led, calculated after deduction of fixed and allocated costs and verified by the board.Role Structure : This position carries no ownership, voting rights, or beneficial interest in the firm or its affiliates.Work Environment : Flexible and remote working arrangements are available, subject to client and regulatory requirements.Seniority level
