Security Supervisor

Responsibilities

Provides administrative support to the Facilities Department, process related security purchase order, maintain security pass ect. Conducts property loss prevention training for security people, manages security related equipment. Maintains security system (e.g. making badges, train new employees with using the security systems, update access and system codes on the security system, and provide security reports to department heads). Maintains fire system : routine fire system inspection and testing, Fire-hydrant, extinguisher, shutter door, emergency door, and emergency light. Contact outside agency such as fire department, police station ect due to emergency. Conduct security training and orientation for employees and visitors. Execute security SOP and perform all securities measure to ensure the plant is secure and company properties are protected. Have to make nighttime surprise inspections regularly to see if all security guards are well disciplined and performing their assigned duties. Adhere to organizational requirements on quality management, health and safety, code of conduct, legal stipulations, environmental, 5S policies and general duty of care. Maintain confidentiality of all information related to the production processes and components, business and other technology including materials. Required to constantly review, introduce and upgrade safety, security and emergency policies, procedures and training programs and modules aimed at improving security and safety functions. Develop and implement safety and security plans for the company’s buildings / premises. Evaluates safety and special security requirements of high-risk areas and provides technical advice. Lead scheduled safety drills from employees and patrons in the business. Maintain records on unusual incidents, establish, create, update and maintain standard operating procedures and manuals, filling systems and control access to confidential information. Address and resolve highlighted concerns regarding safety, security or performance that require management attention. Promote awareness and adherence to occupational health and safety regulations (e.g, OSHA and ISO 45001) To liaise with Police and any other law enforcement / government agencies / authorities and local councils on all matters with regards to all or any security and safety issues affecting the Company, its operating companies, subsidiaries and associate Companies. To establish, manage and maintain good relationships with the Police and any other law enforcement / government agencies / authorities involved in Safety and Security. Manage the company security and safety operations. Performs adhoc duties as and when required by the Management. Requirements

Minimum Diploma in Security / Safety or equivalent combination of education. Minimum 2 years experience in related fields. Experience on facilities administrative and security supervise is priority. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral in Bahasa Melayu and English. Good organizational skills. Good facilities administrative skills. Hands on experience with PCs and related programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
