What you'll be doing

1) Assisting veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and major surgical procedures

2) Monitoring and caring for hospitalised patients, including administering medications, changing bandages, and providing comfort and support

3) Performing routine tasks such as taking and processing laboratory samples, sterilising equipment, and maintaining a clean and organised work environment

4) Educating clients on proper pet care, nutrition, and preventive health measures

What we're looking for

1) Candidate must possess an animal-based degree such as Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

2) Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Veterinary Nurse / Assistant or relevant training in veterinary or animal care

3) Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

4) Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both clients and the veterinary team

5) Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

6) Compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine love for animals

7) Proficiency in basic veterinary procedures and medical terminology

8) Good interpersonal and communication skills, in verbal and written for English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin (value added).
