Join B. Braun Group as an Engineer / Senior Engineer / Assistant Staff Engineer – Assembly Automation (Process Development). This role involves process development for assembly automation in medical device manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Determine core aspects and success criteria for automation solutions in product manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Drive projects in production process automation for assembly solutions in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with the global Center of Competence (CoC) and related sub‑CoC groups.
- Assist in developing strategies to execute governance over core processes within the regional responsibility of the BMI B Braun Technology Center‑Asia Pacific (BTC‑AP) in accordance with the Operating Model Medical (OMM).
- Collaborate with production and R&D to promote simultaneous engineering for combined product and process development, aiming to generate manufacturable new products in line with the Center of Excellence (CoE) and division’s needs.
- Assist in early evaluations of manufacturing technology suppliers in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region to enhance B. Braun’s manufacturing capabilities, especially in innovative automation technologies. For senior positions, provide training concepts and execution recommendations for technically skilled workers, to be implemented by a technical training center.
What you will bring to the team
At least 5 years of experience in medical device engineering projects and machine development and innovation.Experience implementing process improvements, automation technologies, and knowledge in Industry 4.0 and digital manufacturing. Proven success in creating, developing, and launching innovations in the market.Responsible for developing User’s Requirement Specifications (URS) and Functional Specifications (FS). Project management experience in supporting timely delivery of projects within agreed budgets. Ability to create / manage a vision, think strategically, plan and organise, innovate, analyse complex data, and exercise sound judgement.Experience managing multiple concurrent research efforts to collect, analyse, and present findings for decision‑making. Experience working in a highly regulated environment is required. Strong discovery skills, particularly in questioning, observing, and experimenting.What we can offer you
