Job Purpose
To provide production technology support, including production optimization, test planning and interpretation, well and completion design, production enhancement, and reservoir and facilities management (WRFM), to support SK433 activities.
Key Accountabilities
To deliver quality PT technical input to activities such as :
- WRFM team tasks like well integrity, surveillance, restoration, and optimization of existing wells.
- Establishing well operating envelopes with expertise in sand control.
- Supporting new well development through completion design, tubing selection, metallurgy, stress analysis, well integrity, data acquisition, and surveillance, collaborating with other disciplines.
- Assisting WRFM lead in opportunity maturation and liaising with stakeholders for technical and budget approval.
- Providing technical assurance for PT discipline deliverables, when qualified.
- Contributing to the development of the annual business plan.
- Identifying opportunities for inflow and outflow enhancement.
- Managing well integrity, surveillance, and maintenance, diagnosing deviations, and proposing mitigations in coordination with stakeholders.
- Coaching junior staff and supporting improvement initiatives.
Key Challenges
Production Technologists play a vital role by coordinating across Reservoir, Well, Surface Engineering, and Production Operations.They are involved throughout the asset lifecycle, from conceptual engineering to decommissioning.Their expertise covers modelling and optimizing well inflow / outflow, well and completion design, well / reservoir interface, WRFM, and Well Integrity Management.They focus on optimizing production and understanding the impact of interventions over the well's life.They work in daily operations and in planning teams to ensure optimal production, including during new development start-ups.Qualifications :
BSc in Petroleum, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
Work Experience :
At least 15 years of hands-on PT experience, especially in WRFM and field development.Experience in coordinating activities within multidisciplinary teams.Proficiency in integrated production system modelling and nodal analysis using commercial software like PETEX.#J-18808-Ljbffr
