Job Purpose : To drive sales growth and market expansion by effectively managing and developing relationships with appointed distributors. Ensure optimal execution of sales strategies, alignment with business objectives, and strong market presence through close collaboration with distributor partners.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of appointed distributors to achieve business objectives.
- Monitor distributor performance and ensure compliance with company policies, pricing structure, and promotional guidelines.
- Collaborate with distributors to plan and implement sales strategies, trade promotions, and marketing campaigns.
- Conduct regular business reviews with distributors to evaluate performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Ensure proper stock levels, timely ordering, and effective inventory management at distributor level.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Identify new market opportunities and drive product penetration in assigned territories.
- Monitor performance vs. objectives, provide continuous coaching and feedback, and conduct appraisals.
- Train and support distributor sales teams to enhance product knowledge and selling capabilities.
- Work closely with internal departments (Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance) to support distributor needs and resolve issues.
- To minimize credit risk exposure by ensuring collections and credit applications are as per approved credit terms and credit limits.
- Actively participate in supply-chain-related projects with the aim of pursuing efficiency and optimization in operations and distributions.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and updates for management review.
Qualifications
Any Bachelor Degree with experience in distributors and customers management.3-5 years experience Distributor Sales experience.Experienced in FMCG industries is an advantage.Good communication skillWilling to travelAdditional Information
