Responsibilities
Handle of full sets accounts for domain companies.
Process staff expenses claims, petty cash, payments and all vendor invoices, credit notes, debit notes, statutory payment, withholding tax and intercompany invoices accurately and according to financial timelines.
Liaise & coordinate with different departments on financial and accounting matters.
Maintain and updating accurate financial records, data / journal entries for posting into accounting system in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Perform month-end closing activities and reporting, including accrual and prepayment schedules, journals, bank and vendor reconciliations, and balance sheet schedules on a timely basis.
Ensure all audit and tax schedules are being reconciled and updated for income statement and balance sheet items.
To coordinate and liaise with external auditor and tax agent, banker, vendor and etc.
Assist in annual fixed assets sighting and fixed asset updates to ensure all additional and disposal are complied with policy
Ensure financial reports are compliant with company internal policies and all latest accounting and reporting standards, taxation regulations and audit requirements imposed by regulatory bodies.
Support Finance Manager and seniors in various ad-hoc tasks, reporting, analysis & etc. from time to time.
Qualifications
Diploma / Degree / Professional Certificate in Accountancy or equivalent.
1 to 2 years of working experience in financial or accounting field preferably in logistics industry.
Candidates with no working experience are encouraged to apply
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and SAP.
Proactive and a team player, Fast learner, self-driven and self-motivated.
Able to work independently under minimal supervision.
