Document Controller (DCC)

Overview

Document Controller responsible for establishing and maintaining document management systems, handling receipt, classification, tracking, distribution, version control, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a structured document management system for projects and company records.
• Manage the receipt, classification, tracking, and distribution of incoming and outgoing documents.
• Administer version control processes to ensure accuracy of revisions and approvals.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support timely submissions and compliance.
• Maintain registers for drawings, contracts, specifications, and correspondence.
• Safeguard sensitive information by enforcing confidentiality and security procedures.
• Conduct periodic reviews and audits to ensure document control standards are consistently applied.
• Archive inactive files and manage record disposal in line with retention policies.
• Prepare documentation and reports required for audits.
