Assist in performing routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and HVAC system checks.
Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
Respond to guest requests for repairs (e.g., malfunctioning appliances, door locks, lighting) in a professional and timely manner.
Perform minor repairs such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, replacing light bulbs, and patching drywall.
Assist in maintaining the hotel's exterior, including landscaping, parking lot upkeep, and snow / ice removal.
Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment (e.g., elevators, laundry machines) as scheduled.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, fire codes, and health regulations.
Assist in setting up event spaces, moving furniture, and handling basic custodial tasks when needed.
Keep maintenance logs and report major issues to the Manager or management.
Support external contractors during renovations or major repairs.
Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and spare parts.
