Manager Depot (CCIS) - Northport, Port Klang

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient service to internal and external stakeholders within depot KPI and turnaround time.
• Manage and control the depot operation with minimum cost incurred, maximize revenue and increase depot profit on daily, monthly and yearly basis.
• Supervise, coordinate, communicate and manage with depot personnel, Logistics & M&R and service providers for depot operation requirements with regards to container booking, receiving, storage, delivery, stock listing and other depot requirements.
• Manage overall depot operation towards KPI or depot turnaround time of 45 minutes.
• Coordinate with all personnel and service providers to achieve high standards of operation and image of the depot.
• Coordinate and communicate with internal stakeholders regarding stock (container) availability based on current demand.
• Manage, control and supervise the operation team to ensure good quality of container release based on cargo worthy and seaworthy requirements as per shipper’s requirement.
• Develop efficient and quality service within the operation team toward better control of overall depot operation.
• Maintain and update records related to container logistics requirements such as container booking, receiving, storage, delivery, depot and equipment maintenance and housekeeping.
• Ensure contractor and depot performance is properly supervised and that periodic reviews are conducted to fulfill contractual obligations and justify costs.
• Monitor the implementation of safety practices, report hazards and incidents, and complete any assigned actions.
