Shopee is seeking a Sales Executive based in Penang. The role involves monitoring merchants' performance, working with account management, and observing competitor activities.
Key responsibilities include :
- Monitor merchants' performance by Areas to ensure merchants are on par with Shopee's current product promo / channel or campaigns.
- Work together closely with merchants' account management.
- Observe and report competitor activities / programs in respective Areas and review their effectiveness / threat / opportunities towards Shopee.
- Propose Quick Win actions to maintain competitiveness within Areas.
- Explore green field areas within Areas for further expansion.
- Achieve sales targets for co-funding & campaigns, leading to the revenue increase.
- Constantly ensure Shopee's presence is visible within Areas managed.
- Identify high-potential accounts, converting them to Shopee merchants.
Requirements :
Based in PenangSPM or Diploma in any field, preferred but not limited to Business, Commerce, MarketingSales experience, preferably in FMCG and Telco industryKnowledgeable and passionate about e-commerce / digital paymentsEffective presentation skills, backed by good business acumenEnjoy challenges and remain flexible in a dynamic entrepreneurial environmentProactively engage, influence, and collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teamsInnovative problem-solving skills, able to dissect problems and implement solutions accordinglyExcellent command of English, the ability to converse fluently in other languages (e.g. : Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin) to communicate with merchants from diverse backgroundsOpen to flexible working arrangements during peak seasons / based on business needsSeniority level
