Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Handle inter-company billings, bank reconciliations, operating expenditure (OPEX) payments, and payroll-related transactions.
Prepare tax computations and tax estimates; liaise with tax agents for filing and submission.
Manage annual statutory audits and liaise with external auditors.
Assist in annual budget preparation and perform variance analysis.
Compile and analyze financial information for management as and when required.
Respond to bankers’ and management queries.
Draft audited financial statements and notes to accounts with appropriate disclosures.
Ensure compliance with MFRS, the Income Tax Act, and the Companies Act.
Added Advantages
Familiarity with MFRS 9 Financial Instruments and the accounting treatment of equity swap assets, borrowings, and derivative instruments.
Experience with transfer pricing documentation.
Knowledge of group accounts and group consolidation.
Requirements
Degree or professional qualification in Accounting (e.g. ACCA, CPA, MICPA) or equivalent.
Hands‑on knowledge of IFRS, local reporting requirements, and tax regulations.
Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably with audit experience from at least a medium‑size firm.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Experience using the Accpac accounting system is an added advantage.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Independent, detail‑oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines.
