Senior Accountant (Full set Accounting)
We are seeking a Senior Accountant responsible for managing full set accounting, internal controls, and group accounting processes to ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with local and international standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare full set of accounts closing at subsidiary level, monthly management reports, schedules and analysis.
- Ensure effective internal controls related to financial reporting; identify continuous improvement opportunities and execute change management.
- Collaborate with local subsidiaries, auditors, and tax agents to ensure transactions and records comply with local accounting standards and statutory / tax requirements.
- Prepare tax return submissions and corporate tax filings.
- Coordinate with external auditors, secretaries, and consultants for interim / annual audits and tax filings.
- Contribute to establishing, reviewing, and updating group accounting policies and procedures in line with changes in business requirements and financial reporting standards.
- Reconcile US GAAP and IFRS where applicable.
Requirements
Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent professional qualifications.CPA / ACCA or equivalent certification.Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with experience in Big 4 and / or multinational companies is an advantage.Familiar with group accounting policies, tax requirements, and internal control procedures. Experience in US GAAP, IFRS, and Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance is an advantage.Experience with SAP S / 4HANA preferred.Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative, integrity, and a strong sense of urgency.Proficiency in English and Chinese, both spoken and written.Seniority level
