We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Account Executive to join our Finance Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting management in maintaining sound financial control.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing daily accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger functions to ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
- Verify supplier invoices, staff claims, and payment schedules for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Monitor outstanding debtors and follow up on collections to minimize overdue balances.
- Ensure proper recording and classification of accounting entries in accordance with accounting standards and internal policies.
- Perform monthly and yearly financial closing activities.
- Prepare management reports, financial statements, and supporting schedules in a timely and accurate manner.
- Handle E-Invoicing, SST submissions, withholding tax, and corporate tax compliance.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary, bankers, and other regulatory bodies.
- Prepare bank-related applications and handle bank facility transactions such as LC, Term Loan, Term Deposit, and Bank Guarantee.
- Supervise and guide subordinates to ensure efficient workflow and accuracy in reporting.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent qualification.Minimum 4–6 years of relevant working experience, with at least 2 years focused on month-end closing.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP software.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.#J-18808-Ljbffr
