Roles

• The Supply Chain Manager will oversee and optimize the end-to-end material procurement and inventory management for contract manufacturing for high-tech industry.
• This role will be responsible for coordinating with internal teams, external suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of materials and components, meeting quality standards and project deadlines.
• Overall, the role of a Supply Chain Manager is critical to ensuring the efficient and effective operation of material procurement, from sourcing materials up to playing a key role in driving profitability, customer satisfaction, and competitive advantage for their organizations.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and implement supply chain strategies to support internal projects, including procurement, sourcing, inventory management, and logistics.

Manage existing supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and on-time delivery of materials and components.

Optimize inventory levels and warehouse processes to minimize lead times, reduce carrying costs, and maintain adequate stock levels to support production schedules.

Coordinate the movement of goods and materials through the supply chain, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as finance departments, to ensure compliance with tax regulations, customs laws, and other relevant regulations governing operations under the LMW.

Utilize forecasting models, statistical analysis, and demand planning tools to predict future demand and plan inventory levels accordingly.

Evaluate, implement, and optimize supply chain management software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and other technology solutions (cloud systems).

Identify, assess, and mitigate risks within the supply chain, including supplier disruptions, geopolitical instability, and natural disasters.

Implement supply chain best practices, processes, and systems to enhance efficiency, visibility, and traceability throughout the supply chain.
