Accountant (GL)

Our client operates as a trusted international shared service center, providing comprehensive finance, legal, and administrative support to manufacturing businesses globally.

As part of ongoing expansion and process improvement initiatives, they are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive GL Accountant to join their team.

Role Overview :

• This is a key role responsible for managing all accounting activities, ensuring data accuracy, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
• The GL Accountant will maintain financial integrity, uphold reporting standards, and support seamless accounting operations, with specific focus on fixed assets, master data, and audit processes.
• Maintain and monitor the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of entries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including P&L and balance sheet reporting.
• Perform reconciliations for intercompany accounts, bank accounts, and balance sheet accounts.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Assist with tax compliance, accruals, and journal entries.
• Identify process improvements and assist with system enhancements to optimize GL operations.
• Collaborate with regional and global finance teams to ensure consistent financial reporting.
