Responsibilities
- Responsible for carrying out sales strategies and ensuring that all enquiries and incoming leads are followed up on in a timely manner;
- To increase revenue growth potential by unlocking new opportunities;
- To actively promote and market the event venue, engaging potential clients and effectively managing inquiries to convert them into confirmed bookings and revenue-generating events;
- Responsible for developing and maintaining long‑term business relationships with existing and new customers, proactively understanding their needs to enhance service delivery and sales experience while ensuring a high customer service standard;
- Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media;
- Conduct market research and continuously stay abreast of industry trends, competitive practices and changes;
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on the achievement of existing and prospective sales;
- Provide administrative and operational support and perform any other tasks required for smooth operations;
- Perform any other tasks as and when assigned from time to time.
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma in Business Studies, Sales / Marketing, Hospitality / Event Management or equivalent;Required language(s) : English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin. Proficiency in Mandarin is necessary to effectively communicate with Mandarin‑speaking clients.At least 1–2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply;Training will be provided;Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office, marketing & digital skills, and knowledge in event management;Good organisational skills, able to multi‑task and work effectively with minimal supervision;Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, self‑starter and good time‑management skill;Prior sales experience in hospitality / MICE industry would be an added advantage.Seniority level
