About the role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Supervisor to join our dynamic team at BLESS COATING & PAINTS SDN BHD' in Kuala Lumpur. This is a contract position that will play a crucial role in supporting the overall operations and delivery of our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

Assisting the Site Supervisor in the day-to-day management and coordination of construction activities on site
Monitoring the work of subcontractors and ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards and within agreed timelines
Conducting site inspections and quality checks to identify and resolve any issues or defects
Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to the project, including progress reports, timesheets, and health and safety records
Providing support in the planning and scheduling of work activities to optimise efficiency and productivity
Collaborating with the project management team to address any challenges or concerns that arise
Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

Minimum 1 years' experience as an Assistant Site Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry

Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with subcontractors, project managers, and other stakeholders

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work orders

Proficient in the use of project management software and tools

Good problem-solving and decision-making skills to address on-site challenges

Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
