The Release Automation Engineer is responsible for automation and streamlining our Continuous

Integration and Delivery processes and ensuring that our deployments are fulfilling governance and

compliance needs. This role ensures secure, auditable, and scalable delivery pipelines across multiple

environments. You’ll work closely with SRE, and development teams to design and implement end-to-

end deployment automation, while embedding policy controls and leveraging AI strategically to optimize

release workflows.

Preferred Skills :

• 5+ years in Release Engineering, DevOps or SRE roles with proven track record of end-to-end automation.
• Strong experience with CD pipeline tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc).
• Experience with build and deployment automation and related technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, GitOps workflows).
• Strong coding / scripting skills in Python, TypeScript, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with AI / ML integration in CI / CD (e.g., ML-based risk scoring, log anomaly detection, release validation).
• Experience with integration with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or collaboration tools such as JIRA, particularly in managing release processes with automation of change management.
• Familiarity with release governance standards : change tracking (e.g., ServiceNow), audit trails, RBAC, and approval chains.
• Some experience with full-stack with ability to understand application architecture from frontend to backend for release impact.
• Solid grasp of security / compliance tools and frameworks (e.g., OPA / Gatekeeper, Checkmarx, Snyk, Aqua, CSPM).
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools like Dynatrace and Sentry to support integration for release monitoring, background in working within regulated environments with a focus on compliance and security is a plus.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and cross-team collaboration skills.
