Job Description / Key Responsibilities :
Maintenance and Repair :
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
Repair or replace defective parts and components as needed.
Machine Optimization :
Optimize CNC machine performance to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
Calibrate and fine-tune machine parameters for precision and accuracy.
Technical Support :
Provide technical support to machine operators and production staff.
Train operators on basic troubleshooting and maintenance procedures.
Documentation :
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and machine performance.
Develop and update maintenance schedules and procedures.
Vendor Coordination :
Liaise with machine suppliers (e.g., Okuma and Mazak) for technical support, spare parts, and software updates.
Coordinate with external service providers for specialized repairs or upgrades.
Safety and Compliance :
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards related to CNC machine operations.
Education, Qualification & Experience :
Education :
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Experience :
Minimum 5 years of experience in maintaining and repairing CNC machines.
Hands-on experience with Okuma and Mazak CNC machines (models : MB5000, MU6300, Genos M560, HCN4000, HCN5000) is highly preferred.
Technical Skills :
Strong knowledge of CNC machine systems, including mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
Expertise in CNC machine controllers : Okuma OSP, Mazatrol, Siemens, and Fanuc.
Proficiency in CNC programming (G-code, M-code) and machine control software.
Knowledge of PLC systems and relevant software applications.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Problem-Solving :
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and resolve issues quickly to minimize downtime.
Certifications :
Certifications from Okuma, Mazak, Siemens, Fanuc, or other CNC machine manufacturers are a plus.
Soft Skills :
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
