• Time Type : Full timeWorker Type : EmployeeThe purpose of this role is to oversee the Company's inward reinsurance claims, through creative problem-solving and fostering strong client partnerships. Additionally, the role involves supporting the reinsurance team in handling reinsurance claims efficiently.
• Your New Role :
• Contribute to the underwriting team plans with a focus on reinsurance considerations and claims.
• Determine work priorities and activities in line with agreed plans to achieve personal and team objectives.
• Ensure adherence to all agreed standards and procedures for consistency across tasks.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, Reinsurers, and Brokers to aid the recovery process.
• Maintain an appropriate internal stakeholder network across the QBE group.
• Engage with internal departments and recommend system solutions.
• Prepare reinsurance analysis reports and financial illustrations for management review.
• Ensure compliance with company SLAs and support the team in achieving them.
• Provide technical and process-related guidance to team members.
• Assist leadership in the execution of company projects and initiatives.
• About You :
• 8 years and above claims experience (Preferably Property, Engineering & Construction)
• Some relevant work experience.
• Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Experience in the direct and reinsurance claims
• Experience in continuous improvement within a service environment.
