Senior Backend Developer

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Software Developer to join our growing team in Malaysia. The role is a unique opportunity to build robust, scalable, and error‑free integration with a variety of partners and providers, so our customers can use the customised solutions with minimal fuss and maximum confidence.

As a Senior Backend Software Developer, you will work on software development projects predominantly on the .Net platform and possess good hands‑on experience with cloud services providers like Azure, AWS, etc.

Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable and efficient software solutions within tight deadlines.

Lead and mentor development teams, fostering a collaborative and knowledge‑sharing culture.

Work closely with project teams to refine requirements and deliver solutions.

Ensure high‑quality, maintainable, and observable code, adhering to best practices.

Optimize application performance for scalability, security, and a seamless user experience.

Conduct code reviews and testing to uphold software quality.

Collaborate across departments to align software development with business goals.

Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in software development.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in .NET Technologies (.NET Core, .NET Framework, ASP.NET Web API, or ASP.NET MVC).

Strong proficiency in RDBMS and NoSQL , with experience designing efficient database schemas.

Solid understanding of web, mobile, clean architecture, and microservices .

Proficiency in Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns .

Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, etc.) is an advantage.

Familiarity with containerisation technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.

Hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps , CI / CD pipelines , and unit / integration testing is highly desirable.

Experience with Blazor is a plus.
