Demand Planner

Overview

rhi is seeking an experienced Demand Planner to support the premium energy clients' major Sales & Operations Planning function in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur. The role is a 12-month contract with potential for a staff role, with premium offices and work-from-home options.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, and statistical models within the global planning tool Kinaxis Maestro. This includes cleansing historical events, running statistical modelling, and determining what intelligence to add looking forward.
• Monitor and analyze demand planning KPIs such as forecast accuracy, forecast value add, and forecast bias.
• Provide insights on demand trends, seasonality, and risks to improve planning accuracy.
• Support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process by presenting updated demand insights and changes to assumptions, working with the market S&OP Manager.
• Participate and provide inputs in the weekly S&OE and monthly S&OP meetings.
• Collaborate with other market teams and the global Demand Planning Excellence lead to ensure adoption of global frameworks and best practices.
• Continuously improve demand planning processes through data-driven insights and best practices.
• Demonstrate proven experience as a Demand Planner using an advanced digital planning tool and strong analytical skills; proficiency in supply chain software (Kinaxis Maestro) and ERP systems (SAP ECC, S / 4HANA, JDE).
