About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Manager to join our dynamic team at Worldgate Express Services Sdn Bhd. This full-time position is based in Shah Alam, Selangor and will play a crucial role in managing and optimising our sea import freight forwarding operations.
What you'll be doing
- Oversee and coordinate all customer service activities related to sea import freight forwarding operations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and resolving any issues or concerns in a timely manner
- Manage and mentor a team of customer service professionals, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality service
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, identify and address pain points, and enhance the overall customer experience
- Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and sales, to ensure seamless coordination and efficient delivery of freight forwarding services
- Analyse customer data and usage patterns to identify opportunities for growth and process improvements
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, trends, and best practices to ensure compliance and maintain a competitive edge
What we're looking for
Minimum 5 years of experience in a customer service within the freight forwarding industryProven track record of successfully managing and leading a team of customer service professionalsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholdersIn-depth knowledge of sea import freight forwarding processes, regulations, and best practicesStrong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skillsProficiency in data analysis and the ability to use data to drive process improvementsFamiliarity with relevant industry software and technologyWhat we offer
