We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to lead and deliver property development projects from conceptual design through to completion and handover. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the planning, execution, and delivery of development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
This role is critical in supporting the company's strategic direction and growth. It requires a dynamic leader with strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Project Planning & Execution
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple property development and construction projects from inception to completion.
- Define project scope, timeline, deliverables, and ensure alignment with company goals and development schedules.
2. Budgeting & Cost Control
Oversee project budgets, cost planning, and financial forecasts.Monitor project expenditures, approve variation orders, and manage cost control measures to ensure financial targets are met.3. Contract Management & QS Oversight
Review and approve contract documentation, tender evaluations, and consultant / contractor appointments.Supervise Quantity Surveying functions including claims evaluation, VO assessments, and contractual risk management.4. Construction Supervision & Quality Control
Manage site progress and ensure timely delivery of work in compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical or coordination issues with consultants and contractors.5. Stakeholder Communication
Liaise effectively with consultants, architects, engineers, local authorities, and internal departments.Provide regular project updates and strategic recommendations to top management and directors.6. Team Leadership
Lead a multidisciplinary team including project executives, engineers, site supervisors, and QS personnel.Mentor junior staff and foster a performance-driven project culture.Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.Minimum 8 years of experience in property development and construction.Solid understanding of full property development lifecycle—from planning and design to construction and handover.Knowledge of authority submission procedures and compliance requirements.Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.High attention to detail, proactive decision-making ability, and resilience under pressure.Proficient in MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD, and relevant project management tools / software.Able to handle multiple projects and tight deadlines independently.Excellent communication skills in both English and Malay (both written and verbal).
