Procurement & Material Control Executive

Senior Executive is responsible for leading and managing complex procurement activities and ensuring that the organization acquires goods and services in an efficient and cost-effective manner. This role involves strategic planning, supplier negotiation, and oversight of procurement operations to align with organizational goals.

Job Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational objectives.
• Monitor, evaluate and control supplier / sub-contractor accuracy and optimum delivery and pricing.
• Obtain tax exemption on all taxable materials from local or overseas via documentation that complies with customs acts and regulation.
• Oversee and manage day-to-day purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
• Compare at least three quotations before making decisions.
• Support inventory control by monitoring stock levels and coordinating with other departments to ensure adequate supply.
• Monitor order status and follow up on any delays or discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procurement regulations, and legal requirements.
• Ensure SST report accurate and on time.
